Kerala, India's southwesternmost state, is known as "God's Own Country". Kerala is bordered on the west by the Arabian Sea and on the east by the Western Ghats, and it is crisscrossed by forty-four rivers. Kerala is one of India's most well-known tourist destinations. Kerala has it all for visitors, including a pleasant temperature, beautiful beaches, backwaters, hill stations, exotic wildlife sanctuaries, waterfalls, plantations, paddy fields, Ayurveda packages, art, culture, music, dance, festivals, historical sites, exotic food, and houseboat cruises.
Kerala is now the most developed state in India, having the highest literacy rate. Kerala is also India's cleanest and most tranquil state. Kerala is divided into fourteen administrative districts for administrative purposes. Malayalam and English are the two most commonly spoken languages in Kerala. Kerala is home to the religions of Hinduism, Christianity, and Islam. Kerala has a lovely climate for the majority of the year. The temperature ranges from 24 to 30 degrees Celsius in the summer and 22 to 32 degrees Celsius in the winter.
Two of Kerala's wildlife sanctuaries and national parks are Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary and Eravikulam National Park. At the Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary in Thekkady, you and your guests can ride gracefully into the gorgeous bush on an elephant. Herds of wild elephants basking in the lake, the Indian bison burying his horns into an undisturbed tree, and the cormorant darting into the waters will delight amateur photographers. Half of the world's population of the endangered Nilgiri Tahr lives in Munnar's Eravikulam National Park. The best time to visit Kerala's wildlife sanctuaries and national parks is from October to March.
