Katra: A journey from Jammu to Katra.

On reaching Katra, which falls in the foothills of the mountain, you are nearest to the famous Mata Vaishno Devi Temple. Check-in at the hotel to stay and unwind.

The river Banganga also flows through the village which is a source of pleasure for the visitors to Katra. You may visit the local market to do some shopping especially of the Dry fruits, Woolen Garments, traditional stuff etc.

After spending a peaceful night in the hotel in Katra, have breakfast and set out for a trek to the mountain to visit Mata Vaishno Devi Temple. Take a walk to the mountain and book a Chopper to lift you to the Temple. You may like to trek the mountain or book any of the Electric Vehicles available for the pilgrims.

Visit the Temple and pay your homage to Mata Vaishno Devi. There is one more trek to Baba Bhairo Nath Mandir reached by the ropeway system. Take your beloved to the Temple to gather blessings for your love,

Once done with the trek, head towards the hotel and have a stomach full of lunch and relax for the rest of the time.

Sanasar Lake is another spot you may visit at Patnitop. The nearby mountain range has a temple known as Shank Pal Temple - a tourist attraction. On the way to Sanasar lies Nathatop which is a beautiful view of high mountains. You can view the Brahma Massif mountain range.
